Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction into nonlocality and contextuality of composite quantum systems, quantum teleportation,
Bell inequalities and entanglement, applications in particle physics, density matrix formalism, construction and determination of entanglement witnesses, geometry of quantum systems in Hilbert space, qubits and qutrits and higher dimensional quantum systems.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral examination at the end of the course

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Introduction into modern developments of quantum physics, presentation of basics of quantum information.

Examination topics

Mathematical methods of theoretical physics.
