Aims, contents and method of the course

This problem session has to be viewed as inseparable from the corresponding lecture course: The material to be covered is identical. A thorough understandig of the notions of linear algebra can be achieved only on the basis of both, the problem session and the lecture course. The problems are available at

Registration for the problem sessions takes place during the first lectures Tue, October 2, Mo, October 8, and Tue, October 9.

Assessment and permitted materials

1. Presenting an aliquot share of the problems posed, distributed over the full duration of the term.

2. Participating in discussing the questions arising from the other participiants' contributions.

3.Marking with a cross at least 2/3 of the problems posed.

4. Successful completion of two written tests (each with positive grade).

According to the rules of the program, the rating of this course must not depend on a single perfomance. Therefore, all of 1.-4. are indispensable for successfully completing.
