Aims, contents and method of the course

Basic principles of superconductivity including high-temperature conductivity, electrical properties, magn. properties of type I and II sc., London and BCS-theory, Josephson effects, technological aspects, type III sc.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The lecture reviews the main physical properties of superconductors and their theoretical description. It is the basis for more specialized courses on this subject.

Examination topics

The lecture will be held in the traditional way and references will be given for more informations.
