Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is intended for students, who want to acquire soft skills that are becoming more and more important. It will be discussed, how scientific work and publications is to be arranged formally correct and clear and this knowledge will then be trained on the basis of small seminar works. The structure of a scientific lecture will be discussed and trained practically. Technical support such as text processing and programs for computer presentation will be introduced and used.
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment based on the continuous contributions to the seminar, the quality of the presentations and a short publication.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of knowledge and experience concerning the writing of scientific publications and the presentation of research results. For a positive assessment two oral presentations, a short publication, and the attendance of more than 50% of the seminars are mandatory.
Examination topics
Seminar presentations of the participants, discussions in the seminar.

Literature will be announced in the eLearning system.
