Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture, as well as the supplementing exercises (269006), will be a block course. Contents are basic concepts of numerical analysis (floating point numbers, condition, stability), direct methods for linear systems (LU, Cholesky, QR factorizations), interpolation (with polynomials, splines, trigonometric polynomials), FFT, numerical integration.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral exam at the end of the course.
