Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

These exercises are taught in parallel to the VU Theoretische Chemie (270059). The goal of the exercises is to deepen the understanding of the contents of the aforementioned lecture. For this, students are required to solve mathematical exercises and to discuss or present their approaches with the lecturers. In doing so, the contents of the lecture can be put into better context through active calculations and the students get the chance to challenge their understanding of the lecture in a timely fashion.
These exercises are recommended to be taken together with the VU Theoretische Chemie.

Assessment and permitted materials

Handing in solved exercise sheets.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

For a positive participation (+), a minimum of half of the exercise sheets have to be solved and handed in. Additionally at least 80% attendance of the sessions is required.
