Aims, contents and method of the course
Fundamental mathematics in an illustrative manner. Application to the topics of the physics course by simple problems. Extended discussion on the derivation of physics laws.
Assessment and permitted materials
At least two written exams.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Understand how to apply mathematical methods in the 3-hour physics course. To this end extend and deepen mathematical know-how from highschool. Consolidate physics knowledge by working and discussion of problems.
Examination topics
Dual presentation Participating discussion of exercises and problems. Lecture notes will be supplied.
