Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

An overview of the latest developments in the areas of molecular nanotechnology and molecular computation will be presented. Both disciplines use (bio)molecules to construct well-defined (bio)molecular nano-structures and artificial (bio)molecular machines on the one hand and to execute molecular computation on non-silicon based hardware on the one
hand. Algorithms and their (bio)molecular implementation, DNA computation, algorithmic self-assembly for the construction of well-defined (bio)molecular nano-structures, construction and functionality of artificial molecular machines.
