Aims, contents and method of the course

Goal: consolidation of the educational background as well as the introduction into basic concepts and methods used in science
Contents: numeral systems, functions, differential- and integral calculus in one variable, complex numbers.
Methode: lecture (hybrid)

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam:
1) Questions of competence (multiple choice), 20 points.
2) Calculating examples (mathematical formulary allowed), 20 points.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Pass rate: at least 50% in each test.

Examination topics
