Aims, contents and method of the course

Goal: consolidation of the educational background as well as the introduction into basic concepts and methods used in science
Contents: numeral systems, functions, differential- and integral calculus in one variable, complex numbers.
Method: lecture and voluntary exercises

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam:
Calculating examples (mathematical formulary allowed, calculator not allowed)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Pass rate: at least 50% in the test.
