Aims, contents and method of the course

Characterisation and identification of natural organic binding media in artistic and historic works; dating methods, analytical chemistry of drying oils, waxes, resins, animal and vegetable glues (proteins and polysaccharides), especially with separation methods (chromatography, electrophoresis).
