Aims, contents and method of the course

· Ionic Conductivity (Electrolytes, Techniques in Measuring of Conductivities, Ionic Mobility, Debey-Hueckel-Law)
· Equilibrium Electrochemistry (Electrode Potentials, Nernst-Equation, Diffusion Potentials, Henderson-Equation, Electro Capillarity, Applications: Determination of thermodynamic Data, pH-Measuring, Ion Selective Electrodes and Electrochemical Sensors)
· Electrode Kinetics (Overvoltages, Butler-Volmer-Equation, Cottrell-Equation, Sand-Equation, Electrochemical Techniques: Transient Methods, Polarography, Voltammetry)
· Corrosion
· Batteries and Fuel Cells
Requirements: should be attented after "Mathematics I and II", "Physics I and II", "Physical Chemistry I, II and III"
