Aims, contents and method of the course

F214: elective field of concentration Analytical Chemistry
Transducers for medical applications, amperometric and potentiometric measurement techniques, ChemFETs, optrodes, SPR-procedures, analysis of blood, body fluids and respiratory gases, hemoglobin, oxygen, carbon dioxide, anaesthetic drugs, pH, ions like K+, Mg++, Ca++ and urea, etc. development of multi-sensor systems, sensors for technical systems, especially combustion engines, lambda -probe, automotive technology, control units for heaters, fire detection, process monitoring and process control, highly stable chemical sensors for the detection of pollutants in air ( CO, NOx, VOCs, e.g) and ground water (PAHs and heavy metal ions) resp.
