Assessment and permitted materials
A maximum number of 100 points can be awarded to students participating in exams and exercises:Exams (total of 50 points):
5 short exams (45 minutes) are held during the semester, each of which is worth 10 points. The exam dates are
1. exam: October 17th (Hofmann); 2. exam: October 24th (vd Kammer); 3. exam November 7th (Hüffer); 4. exam November 16th (Krämer); 5. exam November 24th (Kimber).Exercises (total of 50 points):
5 exercises are done during the semester, each of which is worth 10 points. Further details will be announced via Moodle.There will be no possibility for repetition of examinations.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A total of 100 points can be reached by successful participation of the exams, exercises, and the laboratory course. The points from all these activities are accumulated an the grade is applied to the total number of points reached during the semester. The following grading scheme will be applied:
