Aims, contents and method of the course

Simple calculation methods for gamma spectroscopy: peak areas, background, decay correction, measuring time corrections, neutron flux variations; demonstration of gamma spectroscopy system (instrumental neutron activation analysis system); gamma-peak identification exercises, flux correction matrix, data reduction procedure of actual examples of neutron activation analyses - samples against standards.
