Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course provides an introduction to various numerical solution methods for differential equations and to quality criteria for these methods. In particular, single and multilevel methods for ordinary and partial differential equations are dealt with.Basic knowledge of differential equations and Python are expected.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written examination, active participation in exercises
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The final grade is made up of the written examination (60%) and the active participation in the exercises (40%). At least 50% of the total number of points is required for a positive assessment.
