Aims, contents and method of the course

Acquiring basic knowledge of climate and climate processes. Module covers the following topics:
Concepts of climatology
Climate system
Climate diagrams
Climate generating processes
Global climatology
Köppen classification: Regional distribution of climates

Topics in lecture series (npi, 6.3.-2.5.2018) and seminar series (pi, 8.5.-19.6.2018) within this module are closely connected.
