Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this seminar we will read and discuss scientific papers on two different topics.In the first half of the seminar led by Aiko Voigt and Blaz Gasparini, scientific papers dealing with high-resolution modeling of climate will be treated. This includes papers on the motivation and added value of increasing model resolution to storm resolving scales as well as those that discuss some of the technical aspects such as model efficiency and big data.The second half will be led by Leo Haimberger and Andreas Plach.Besides the scientific content, an important aim of the seminar is to learn how to effectively work with scientific literature.

Presentation of at least 2 scientific papers
