Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture series is intended for scientific exchange with external scientists in form of invited talks. Students get a deepened insight into the research foci of the invited researchers and are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion. Most talks will be in-person, however some talks might be online. The constantly updated colloquium program can be found here: https://imgw.univie.ac.at/en/news-events/colloquium-program/
Please regularly check the program it might change during the semester!

Talk + discussion should take around 1 hour. The students are expected to actively participate in the discussion.

After each colloquium talk, the students will hand in a short summary of the talk and grade the talk (via moodle; criteria will be communicated via moodle).
