Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Different topic related to satellite meteorology will be treated during the lecture. These topic will be picked-up during the practical sessions. The lecture will be held each Monday, while the practical sessions will use the Moodle page of the university. The practical work consists of an exercise that will be given on Monday and that has to be answered until next Sunday evening.
The aim of the course is to focus on the interdependency of model fields and related patterns in the satellite images. The most important conceptual models will be treated during the course. The lecture has a very strong hands-on side.

Assessment and permitted materials

Physical presence during the lectures and collaboration (i.e. some kind of feed-back) in the practical sessions. Oral exam after the end of the course.
