Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will cover topics related to stars and planetary systems,
- Stars: HR diagram, pre-main sequence to supernovae, nuclear timescales
- Stars: age determination, activity and magnetic fields
- Protoplanetary disks: formation and evolution, observations
- Planet formation and debris disks: dissipation of gas, dust growth
- Exoplanets: observing techniques, statistics
- Atmospheres: observations, Earth and exoplanets

Assessment and permitted materials

Exercise (50%) and exam (50%). Each exercise session comes with a pop-up quiz and a homework sheet.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Final grade is given by:
50% Exam
