Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will cover topics related to stars and planetary systems,
- Stars: HR diagram, pre-main sequence to supernovae, nuclear timescales
- Stars: structures of stars, age determination and other observables
- Stars: magnetic activity and fields
- Protoplanetary disks: formation and evolution, observations
- Planet formation and debris disks: dissipation of gas, dust growth, dynamical stabilities
- Exoplanets: atmospheres, observing techniques, statistics

Assessment and permitted materials

Exercise (50%) and exam (50%). Each exercise session comes with a pop-up quiz and a homework sheet.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Final grade is given by:
50% Exam
50% Exercise
