Assessment and permitted materials
Exam (Multiple Choice) on 28.01.2022, solution of weekly exercise sheets, presence in exercise groups. No tools are allowed for the exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The final grade is computed as follows:
50% exam (Grade 1-5, grading scheme is shown below). To successfully complete the lecture it is mandatory to pass the exam (grade 4 or better).
30% presentations in exercise groups in teams of 2 students each; grades 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 or 3.
20% solutions of weekly exercise sheets (grades 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5), presence in exercise groups. If a student is absent without an excuse more than twice, the exercise grade is degraded by one, e.g. from 2 to 3.
All partial requirements have to be fulfilled. No tools (except a pen) are allowed for the exam. For students who fail to pass the exam we will conduct a second exam probably end of February 2022.
Grading scheme for exam:
below 45% -> grade 5
45% - 58.75% -> grade 4
58.75% - 72.5% -> grade 3
72.5% - 86.25% -> grade 2
86.25% - 100.0% -> grade 1
