Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment of the course will be done by means of quizzes and a written exam.
There will be 12 quizzes handed out during the exercise sessions; the grade of the 6 best quizzes will contribute to the final grade.
The written exam will take place on 02.07.2024, from 9:00 to 11:00, in the Hörsaal at the Observatory.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In order to pass the course, students have to submit 75% of the exercise sheets (i.e., at least 9 exercise sheets), and to participate into the exam.
The final grade will be computed with a combination of the grade of the exam and the grade of the 6 best quizzes; each of these components is worth 50% of the final grade.
