Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Galaxies are formed in regions of diferent density in the universe and, by this, their evolution is affected by the original environment. In addition, their motion in the cosmos leads to mutual interaction and infall into denser regions, e.g. galaxy clusters. Also these efects change their evolution and leads to morphological transformations. By this class we will study the different environmental effects and their consequences on the evolution of galaxies of different masses.
