Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminarcovers the late evolutionary stages of solar-like stars. In particular we will talk about the Asymptotic Giant Branch phase, the star's last Hurrah! Nucleosynthesis, atmospheric dynamics and mass loss will form the main topics of the seminar.
Assessment and permitted materials
Contributed talk and active participation in the seminar
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Elaboration and presentation of one topic from the list of topics presented during the first lesson of the seminar. Active participation in at least 70% of the seminar.
Examination topics
Distributed materials, mostly reviews and original papers
