Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
An overview of the ESO 39m telescope project, its instrumentation and related science projects is given. A special aspect will be the Austrian participation in the project. The practical part of the course deals with observation techniques and data reduction at infrared wavelengths
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam at the end of the course in combination with an evaluation of the exercises
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At least 50% of the maximum achievable credits by combining exercises and written test
