Aims, contents and method of the course

The Seminar deals with the social co-construction of gender and space with a focus on the following themes
1) Gendered work and economic livelihoods
2) Feminist political geography and economic livelihoods
3) Gendering the right to the city
4) The body, performance and space
5) Spaces of culture and identity production
6) Feminist political ecology

Methods: discussion of basic literature; preparatory activities for individual seminar papers; peer discussion und peer evaluation; Pecha-Kucha presentations
