Aims, contents and method of the course
The course deals with the question of how processes of socio-economic regional development are affected by globalization of production and innovation and examines the ways by which different regions can reposition themselves in globally configured production and innovation networks. The course provides opportunities to discuss these issues from a theoretical perspective and by drawing on concrete empirical examples.

Seminar paper, short presentation of selected topic, peer review, presence and contributions to the discussion in the classroom, joint discussion of compulsory literature
