Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this course is to give the students an overview of the theoretical foundations and applications of participatory methods for spatial planning and regional development. Starting with an introduction to the current state of the art of research and theory in the field of stakeholder involvement, current application examples are discussed and systematized in a heuristic. In addition, the students will prepare, carry out and evaluate a participatory mini-foresight process (development of a vision). Group dynamic processes and interview situations are discussed, moderation techniques will be developed and the planning and implemenation of workshops are discussed in detail. In a final event, the students will learn how to set up the method of a world café and other large group techniques.
