Aims, contents and method of the course
Content: Due to the objectives of this course students will be tutoring pupils of a secondary school and thus help them accomplishing a project beginning with the creation of a specific theme to the presentation of results. The process of the project will be based on the method of Kilpatrick. This means that not only knowledge and kognitive qualifications are considered to be important objectives but also social abilities. The project process relies on selected didactic concepts among which the constructive approach is considered to be of outstanding importance.
Assessment and permitted materials
Comprehensive project diary and written evaluation concerning the achievements of the participants
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The participants should be able to initiate, support and evaluate constructivist learning processes.
Examination topics
Action oriented work in groups, presentation techniques , scientific propaedeutical work
