Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar aims at analyzing and discussing current issues of economic policy and economic performance from both a theoretical and empirical perspective. The topics will cover a large group of questions, from funding COVID-policies to rethinking globalisation policies.

Assessment and permitted materials

The seminar is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that the presentations, summary of presentations and contribution to the discussions form the basis for evaluation and the mark.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Presence at the seminar according the rules for "prüfungsimmanente" courses.
Marking: presentation (including powerpoint-file): 70%; summary of another presentation: 10%; contributions to the seminar discussions: 20%
