Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this three-day excursion, the students will meet different types of gravitative mass movements in different regions of Vorarlberg. The selected locations in Rätikon/Montafon, Bregenz Forest Mountains and the molasses zone should give information about morphologic dynamics of respective landslide processes. A distinct focus will be set on the interaction between slope hydrological and geomechanical properties of the respective location and site-specific risk potentials will be discussed.
