Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The Bachelor seminar looks 10 selected current themes crossing open (public) spaces. It aims at critically identifying, analyzing and understanding relevances of and opportunities that open public spaces offer in times of pandemic. Examples are open publics spaces and temporalities, open publics spaces and social justice, open publics spaces and regulations, open public spaces and short-term interventions, etc.
Assessment and permitted materials
Each participant gives an oral presentation with ppt presentation (20-25 min.) that she/he uploads on moodle. The PPT presentation is recorded with the oral comments.
All participants provide feed-backs to the uploaded presentations through "forum" on moodle (discussion).
Participants sharing the same theme, provide a thorough critical and constructive feed-backs to their peers.
Each participant writes a final seminar paper that takes into account the remarks provided in the discussion.
PPT presentation and paper can be in German or English.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Assessment: Oral presentation and discussion 40%, written seminar paper 60%.
