Aims, contents and method of the course

Das Projektseminar zielt auf einen Vergleich des österreichischen Raumplanungssystems (institutioneller Aufbau, Instrumente, Akteure, Planungskultur, Wandel) mit anderen Ländern Europas. Als Vergleichsrahmen dient ein neues Buch über die Struktur und Dynamik europäischer Planungssysteme ("Spatial Planning Systems and Practices in Europe. A Comparative Perspective on Continuity and Changes", ed. by Mario Reimer, Panagiotis Getimis, Hans Blotevogel; London: Routledge 2014).

Assessment and permitted materials

The marking will be derived from the written reports and from the presentations in the seminar.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Examination topics

In this seminar students are asked to work autonomously on a certain research question and to present results orally as well as in written form.
