Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students should develop a general view on urban development in Southeast Europe, to be discussed in class. Students should be enabled to interpret topics of urban geography from the viewpoint of the SEE periphery. Historical path dependencies as well as contemporary processes of urban development will be elaborated - with a focus on cities to be visited during the field trip.
Assessment and permitted materials
Pro-active participation, writing of an excursion report
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation (50%) and excursion report (50%) have to be graded positive.
Examination topics
No exam - active participation!
