Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The objective of the online field trip is to get familiar with applications, fields and tasks of geo-information in practice. The online field trip offers an insight into the use and topics related to GIS, remote sensing and cartography at various authorities, agencies, research organizations, universities and NGOs in Austria and neighbouring countries. The objectives will be achieved through contributions of different organizations.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The minimum requirement for a pass grade is the participation in the online field trip and the submission of a report and an excursion diary. The individual marks result from the active participation and the quality of the reports as well as the online excursion diary.
Examination topics
Different organizations will be visited where presentations and demonstrations will be given. The active participation (discussions and asking questions) and the report as well as the online excursion diary are the basis for grading.
