Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The Bachelor Seminar deals with 10 selected current themes that deal with urban redevelopment projects. It aims at critically analyzing understanding issues and opportunities within urban redevelopment strategies at the local, city and metropolitan scales. Examples are spatial justice, built heritage, density, sustainable redevelopment, etc.
Assessment and permitted materials
Each participant gives an oral presentation using a PPT (20-25 min.) that she/he uploads on moodle.
Participants in class and via zoom provide critical and constructive feed-backs.
Each participant writes a final seminar paper that takes into account remarks provided during the discussion.
PPT presentation and paper can be in German or English.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Assessment: Oral presentation and discussion 40%, written seminar paper 60%.
