Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lectures which have to be prepared and given by the students, should present the core of the respective economic theory and discuss the implications of the theory for spatially oriented economic policy.

Assessment and permitted materials

Students will get their marks according to (1) the quality of the respective lecture and (2) the quality and quantity of their contributions to the seminar discussions in general.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The goal of the seminar is to gain an overview over economic theories which explicitely incorporate space.

Examination topics

Students have to give lectures on selected topics of the general theme of the seminar

Reading list

Will be distributed with the handout at the beginning of the seminar
