Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Focus: geomorphology, geoecology, natural hazards and their consequences, natural resources and their exploitation, Maori culture, urban und rural development.
Planned route: Christchurch - Mount Cook - Lake Tekapo - Kairoa - Wellington - Palmerston North - Rotorua - Auckland
Costs approx. 800€ - exclusive the flight, which has to be self-organized.

Assessment and permitted materials

An online excursion guide will be prepared after the excursion, the quality of which will very much depend on the active participation of the participants during the excursion. Each student will provide an exactly defined contribution.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Publishable quality of the contribution to the excursion guide - max. score of 20: 20-19 Sehr gut, 18-16 Gut, 15-13 Befriedigend, 12-11 Genügend, 10-0 Nicht genügend

Examination topics

No exam, but active participation during the excursion will be necessary for positive completion
