Vorbesprechung: DO 06.03.2014, 15.00-18.00 Ort: Seminarraum 2A310 UZAII (1090 Wien, Althanstraße 14) - Teilnahme ist verpflichtend! Kostenbeitrag für die Exkursion: 190 Euro. Dieser Betrag ist bei der verbindlichen Anmeldung in der Vorbesprechung verpflichtend zu bezahlen (sonst ist die Teilnahme an der Exkursion nicht möglich)!
Termin: DO 27.03. bis SO 30.03.2014 (4 Tage in Quellgebieten) sowie MO 19.05.2014 13.30-19.30 (Wien)

Aims, contents and method of the course

Field Trip: The Water Supply of Vienna - Structural System and Fundamentals of the Physical Region

How works the Viennese water supply ? Viewing the facilities an the fundamentals of the physical region: beginning at the storage "Rosenhügel" in the urban area to the springs in the catchment are in Lower Austria and Styria taking account of scientific research projekt in context of karst-research (geology, hydrology, karst-hydrology, biology/vegetation, forest-ecology, snow-measurement-programm, GIS-model).
