Aims, contents and method of the course

Within this introductory seminar course selected examples on special issues in soil genetic, quartarnary research and paleaopedology will be presented. The studends learn about methods, analyses und concepts that are used to explain soils as "harddisc of nature". Each lecture will give statements about his own research in the field of palaeopedology. The aim is to integrate all different facilities of research to one profession.
