Die Exkursion wird vom 23.-25.07.2012 stattfinden und überwiegend zu Fuß zurückgelegt. Dabei werden etliche Höhenmeter zurückgelegt, so dass eine gewisse körperliche Fitness und Trittsicherheit in alpinem Gelände erforderlich ist.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The excursion goes first to Hallstatt and up to the Plassen. At the Plassen natural hazards and risks threatening Hallstatt will be adressed. Afterwards we will move up to the Dachstein Plateau. Central themes are the glacial processes, the karst and landslides as well as the forms created by these processes. Conflicts of interest due to humans will also be discussed.
