In the prelaminary meeting on Wednesday, 04.10.2023 11:30-13:00 Seminarraum 1.3, Biologie Djerassiplatz 1, 1.005, Ebene 1 the project topics of each supervisor will be briefly presented, and the selected topics will be commited. You may contact the supervisors already in advance of the prelaminary talk and select/fix your project. If so, please inform me about your agreement via mail: hubert.keckeis@univie.ac.at.

Active participation during the project work (70%) and final written report (30%)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Conduct (under guidance of experienced scientists) a small research project, from literature survey and formulation of working hypotheses and research questions, through the gathering and analysis of the required data, to the writing of a final report.
Examination topics
This course will be graded according to the following:
1) Conducting the reserach project (70 points)
2) Writing a final report (30 points)

Reading list
The literature will be provided by the supervisor, you also will learn how to search literature in scientific data bases.
