Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Ecosystem Ecology addresses the interaction between organisms and communities and their environment as an integrated system. EE deals with ecosystem processes (flow of energy and matter through systems), explores the cycling of elements between the biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere and the associated biological and physico-chemical processes.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written examination
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Introduce students into important aspects and methods of ecosystem ecology and biogeochemistry.
Examination topics
Lecture
Reading list
Important introductory literature will be shown in the first lecture.
