Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Ecosystem Ecology addresses the interaction between organisms and communities and their environment as an integrated system. EE deals with ecosystem processes (flow of energy and matter through systems), explores the cycling of elements between the biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere and the associated biological and physico-chemical processes.
Assessment and permitted materials
The exam will be held as a digital written exam with open questions by download of an examination sheet (open-book format).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Basic knowledge of all aspects and methods of ecosystem ecology and biogeochemistry covered during the lectures.Written exam with three questions (6 points each) on the entire lecture material. More than half of the attainable points must be achieved in order to successfully complete the exam. All aids allowed (Open Book).
Examination topics
The content of all lectures. Slides will be provided on Moodle.
