Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course has 3 different aspects of morphological research. The first deals with the basic and standard histological procedures (lab work). The second part of the course focuses on microscopy and documentation via photography of different samples on different levels (stereomicroscopy, compound microscopy) and the third aspect will deal with imaging and visualization techniques (3D-reconstruction, volume rendering,...).
Students will work in groups of 2-3 on a certain project that will be determined at the start of the course.
