Aims, contents and method of the course

Exercises on systematics, life cycle and ecology of cryptogams (fungi, algae, mosses, ferns). In addition, collecting, determination and ecological characteristics are demonstrated.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Introduction to biodiversity, systematics and ecological relevance of the various groups of crpytogams (fungi incl. lichens, algae, bryophytes, ferns). Practical analysis of cryptogams and knowledge of the relevant features (macro- and microscopically), practical relevance for humans
