Presentations, course work and practices are all intended to encourage active and independent engagement with the field of microarchaeology.

Disclaimer: not a course on quantitative methods

Assessment and permitted materials

- Active participation in the micromorphology practices
- Pecha Kucha presentation on a freely chosen topic
- Write a proposal for experimental or ethnoarchaeological study on research gaps identified during the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Mandatory presence, active presence 20%, PK presentation 40%, study design 40%
Detailed comments will be provided on the study design and can be handed it again with correction to improve this part of the grade.
