Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar addresses students, which are starting to work in a lab (within a practical course or scientific work). Students will get an overview of the principles of correct behavior in labs (including information about protective clothes, PPE - personal protective equipment and safety equipment in labs), the handling of hazardous materials and chemicals (storage, waste management, safety data sheets, risk and safety phrases) and learn how to react in case of emergency (first aid and fire prevention).
Assessment and permitted materials
Anwesenheitspflicht, die Mitarbeit wird stark gewichtet, die verplichtende Abschlussprüfung umfasst die wichtigsten Aspekte des Seminars. Die Abwesenheits bei 2 Seminarstunden wird toleriert. Bei weiteren Fehlstunden ist die Leistung nicht mehr beurteilbar.
